German Pudding Tart

German Pudding Tart

The German pudding tart exudes a rich, creamy aroma. Its golden, crispy crust paired with the soft pudding center creates a delightful multi-layered texture. Additionally, you can enhance it with fresh fruits or rich chocolate sauce, adjusting the flavor to your personal preference. It's an irresistible and delicious dessert!

Ingredients Directions
100g pudding powder
600ml water
80g butter
35g powdered sugar
20g egg liquid
170g cake flour
Step 1: Use a mixer to beat the butter until it reaches a smooth consistency.
Step 2: Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing with the mixer to ensure the butter and sugar are well combined.
Step 3: Once the mixture is fluffy and turns white, add the egg liquid and mix well.
Step 4: Gradually add the sifted cake flour and mix until well combined.
Step 5: Seal the mixed tart dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 6: Add the pudding powder to hot water, stir until it boils, then turn off the heat.
Step 7: Roll the tart dough into balls of about 15g each, flatten them, and place them into tart molds.
Step 8: Pour the mixed pudding liquid onto the tart crusts.
Step 9: Place in the oven, set the temperature to 200°C, and bake for about 20 minutes. Remove and let it cool before enjoying.

Tips

When placing the tart dough into the tart molds, make sure to press it tightly to avoid any gaps between the dough and the mold, and ensure it fully covers the mold's grooves. Then, pour the pudding mixture to about 80% full to prevent it from boiling over and spilling during baking, which could cause the German pudding tart to fail.

Storage

If you don't plan to eat the German pudding tart immediately, it is recommended to store it in a sealed container in the refrigerator. When you're ready to eat, simply reheat it in the oven for about 4 minutes.
